St. Pius X Classical Academy
Principal
St. Pius X Classical Academy (Pre-K through 8th),
located at 2750 Tucker Road in Nashville, has an opening
for Principal. Position is full-time, 40 hours/week,
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with some
time needed for after school activities.
Primary functions of this position are to manage and
provide opportunities for spiritual growth for students
and faculty; create an environment that promotes the
Catholic faith and moral development of the academy
community; provide leadership in classical curriculum
development; plan for academy financial resources and
academy development; conduct staff development programs;
evaluate and supervise faculty, staff, students, and the
instruction program; and work collaboratively with
diocesan and parish groups, especially in the areas of
governance. Overall role is to be the educational
administrator and catechetical leader of the academy.
Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Educational Administration or
Curriculum (Master’s degree in a related field may
be considered)

Minimum of five years of experience as a teacher or
administrator

Up to five years of supervisory experience as an
administrator
Other Skills or Requirements:
-
Roman Catholic in good standing
-
Good communication, interpersonal, and
organizational skills
-
Excellent writing, spelling, speaking, and
analytical skills
-
Prefer candidate with experience in recruiting and
fund raising

Basic computer/internet skills required
