Start Date: August 1, 2023

St. Cecilia Academy is seeking a high school mathematics teacher able to instruct students in a wide range of mathematics courses (college preparatory, honors and AP), balancing preparation for standardized tests with a liberal arts approach to teaching mathematics.

Qualifications:

• Understands and supports the mission of St. Cecilia Academy
• Has a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and background in mathematics education; Tennessee certification in mathematics is preferred.

St. Cecilia Academy follows a unique Geometry First Curriculum in which students begin with Geometry and are prepared for AP level work after a two year sequence of Algebra 1 and 2 without need of a Pre-calculus class.  Candidates must show enthusiastic support to our curriculum and to teaching girls in our faith-filled environment.
