St. Cecilia Academy, a Catholic, college preparatory high school for young women grades 7-12 in Nashville, TN, seeks an energetic and dedicated Director of Admissions to lead the Admissions staff, which consists of the Director of Admissions, Associate Director of Admissions, and Assistant to Admissions.

• Possesses strong organizational skills, able to navigate online admissions platform (Blackbaud)

• Has strong interpersonal skills and personal qualities of integrity and responsibility and an ability to maintain confidentiality
• Possesses a calm demeanor and the ability to multi-task

Scope:

• Create and execute an overall calendar of admissions and year-long needs of the office
• Develop and implement comprehensive plan to promote SCA to prospective families; guide students and families through the admission process; conduct candidate/family interviews; track and review candidate applications
• Oversee planning and coordination for admissions events such as open house, visit days, shadow days, information fireside chats, testing, candidate benchmarks, and evaluation
• Day-to-day interaction with parents, prospective students, and members of the community and current parents on behalf of St. Cecilia admissions
• Communicate admission and financial aid decisions, working with campus finance office
• Conduct re-enrollment of current families
• Work with marketing department to promote the school generally and fully integrate admissions needs into the overall strategic communications plan
• Work with and maintain student ambassador program
• Sustain connections within the admissions community of partner schools and Nashville’s private schools and Catholic churches
• Sustain connections within the school and local Catholic community for admissions needs
