Description
The Director of Campus Ministry and Student Life ensures that the Catholic faith vision is promoted, nurtured, and developed throughout the whole life of Father Ryan’s community – students, families, faculty, and staff. It is a leadership role calling all community members to live by our mission as a Catholic school in faithfulness to our Mission and Tradition. The Director of Campus Ministry and Student Life will offer ecumenical programs that unite people of diverse beliefs and perspectives to build community and deepen our understanding of Jesus Christ in conjunction with the Theology department.
The nature of this ministry is relational. As a result, the Director of Campus Ministry and Student Life is expected to help support and develop various student life programs on campus. In conjunction with the entire school community, the Director of Campus Ministry and Student Life is focused on creating Christ-like leaders who will impact their schools, homes, churches, and communities.
Campus Ministry, Student Life, and the House System each play a significant role in the faith and formation of our students. Coordination and communication among these departments are necessary; therefore, planning meetings need to include all these departments and are essential to execute an intentionally cohesive experience.
