St. Bernard Academy (Nashville, TN) seeks an energetic Foreign Language teacher with the skills and desire to support St. Bernard Academy in the areas of student growth, responsibility, and creativity. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with a team of professionals in an educational environment that is progressive and fast paced. The part-time position begins August 1, 2023.

Position requirements: – Candidates will be expected to have an undergraduate and/or advanced degree in a Foreign Language and have experience working with middle school students.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Part-time teaching
• Collaboration and professional approach to all interactions with colleagues, students and parents
• Work with the school community to connect SBA to the broader community

Compensation – This is a school year position. Salary is dependent on education, experience, and part-time teaching assignment; Benefits include a tuition remission plan for children of employee, health and dental insurance, worker’s compensation, short-term and long-term disability, group life insurance, retirement plan, and eligibility for professional enrichment and continuing education.
