The Dominican Campus Security Department is seeking a full-time or part-time security officer who enjoys a variety of tasks to join our team to help safeguard the students, faculty/staff, and visitors of our beautiful, historic campus in a school setting.

Duties include:

• Patrol operations
• Monitor, respond to, and follow up on suspicious behavior and vehicles
• Respond to and mitigate emergency/critical incidents
• Direct traffic
• Assist with inspections, compliance, and safety functions
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of a high school diploma
• Obtain a Tennessee Armed Guard License
• Work afternoons/evenings and weekends
• Stand for long periods, walk throughout an 83-acre campus, and lift up to 45 pounds.
• High level of awareness, good judgment, and critical thinking skills
• Good communication skills
• Previous law enforcement, military, and/or security experience is ideal but not required.
