St. Cecilia Academy seeks a highly motivated and experienced High School Basketball Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for basketball, possess excellent coaching skills, and be committed to developing young athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive basketball program that focuses on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Organize and lead practices, games, and tournaments
• Provide individualized instruction and support to players to help them reach their full potential
• Evaluate and promote the team for new players
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to ensure the success of the entire athletic program
• Maintain open communication with parents, school administration, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field
• Extensive knowledge of the game of basketball and proven coaching experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes
• Knowledge of rules, regulations, and safety procedures related to high school sports
• Meet state and local requirements for coaching positions including a background check
