PT/FT: Full-Time

Level: 9-12^th  grade

Start Date: August 1, 2023

St. Cecilia Academy is seeking a full time history instructor for the 2023-24 school year.

Qualifications:

• Understands and supports the mission of St. Cecilia Academy
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in history or humanities.
• Experience teaching high school history; a background in a liberal arts setting is preferred. A Tennessee teaching certification is preferred.
• A demonstrated interest in forming young women to embrace the challenges of grappling with perennial ideas and an ability to foster the joy of intellectual inquiry.

St. Cecilia Academy high school curriculum provides a solid foundation in Western Civilization. Students also study United States history and have the option of pursuing several history and social science electives.  Candidates must show enthusiastic support for our curriculum and for teaching girls in our faith-filled environment.
