St. Bernard Academy (Nashville, TN) seeks an energetic and nurturing interim teacher with the skills and desire to foster student growth in both academics and social emotional well being. The position begins in August 2023 and ends in late November of 2023.

Position requirements: The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate and/or advanced degree in Education, a commitment to innovative teaching methods, enthusiasm for teaching within a diverse community of learners, effective classroom management, communicative skills and a willingness to collaborate with others

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Full-time teaching
• Collaboration and professional approach to all interactions with colleagues, students and parents
• Work with the school community to connect SBA to the broader community

SBA is a co-ed, independent, Catholic day school serving 375 students in levels JK-4 through eight. Located in the Hillsboro Village area of Nashville, Tennessee, it is within walking distance to Vanderbilt University and Belmont University.
