Bilingual Family Liaison and ESL Teacher
Description

Saint Ann School is seeking a dedicated Bilingual Family Liaison and ESL Teacher to support English Language Learners while serving as a bridge between the school and our Spanishspeaking families. The ideal candidate is committed to academic excellence, effective communication, and the mission of Catholic education.

Family Liaison Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking families.
  • Build positive relationships with families to encourage active participation in their children's education.
  • Translate and interpret written and verbal communication between the school and families from English to Spanish.
  • Coordinate and facilitate parent meetings, conferences, workshops, and family engagement events.
  • Support enrollment, registration, and orientation for new multilingual families.

ESL Teacher Responsibilities

  • Provide small group instruction for ESL students to offer support alongside classroom instruction.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse linguistic and academic needs of English learners.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to support language development across content areas.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that values students' cultural and linguistic diversity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Education, ESL, Bilingual Education, or a related field.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trusting relationships with families.
