On-Site USCCB Safe Environment Audit for 2020-2023
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) conducts safe environment audits of all dioceses throughout the country. Every three years they conduct an on-site audit which includes a review of diocesan policies and practices, interviews with diocesan staff and members of the diocesan review board, as well as a review of diocese’s safe environment training data. The most recent on-site audit was completed in September of 2023. This audit covered the following dates: July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2023. The Diocese of Nashville also participates in USCCB’s annual data collection process which is part of the audit process. Below is a letter stating that we participated in the most recent round of data collection.
