St. Cecilia Academy, a Catholic college-preparatory high school for young women owned and administered by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation since 1860, seeks a dynamic and mission-driven Director of Student Activities to lead and grow its student life program with excellence and integrity.

The Director of Student Activities is a full-time staff member who serves on the administrative team and reports directly to the principal. This position is responsible for developing, managing, and supervising every aspect of the school’s student life programs.

The Director of Student Life is responsible for leading and managing student life and campus ministry programming in a manner consistent with the mission and philosophy of Saint Cecilia Academy and the teachings of the Catholic Church. The role of the Student Activities Director is to promote Catholic leadership, morale, spirit, and a sense of school pride among the students, faculty, and staff at St. Cecilia. All student activities are the heart of the school – clubs, service opportunities, special presentations, special events, educational forums, and activities bring disparate populations of a school together.

Qualifications:

• A practicing, devout Christian with a strong personal commitment to living and witnessing the faith
• Deep commitment to the Catholic mission of St. Cecilia Academy
• Bachelor's degree
• Preferred 3–5 years of experience
• Organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail is necessary for this job
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to engage and lead student leaders
• Willingness to work some evenings and weekends, including attendance at school events
