Summary and Description
Saint Ann School is seeking a 5th-8th grade math teacher who believes all students can grow in a math classroom. Our ideal candidate is open to collaborating with others and pushes students to grow not only mathematically but in all aspects of their middle school development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mathematics as well as teaching middle school students while setting an example as a lifelong learner. An Ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage a middle school classroom setting to ensure that it is an optimal learning environment. An Ideal Candidate will also be able to effectively differentiate instruction so as to ensure that all students are being taught at a level appropriate to them. Students at Saint Anns utilize 1:1 technology and an ideal candidate would be able to use tools and resources to effectively teach in that environment. All candidates must be able to pass a background check.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in education or other related field is preferred.
- Experience in a middle school classroom is preferred.
- A valid Tennessee teaching license or working toward one.
