Part-time or Full-Time
Responsibilities: Conduct classroom workshops and small group sessions. Oversee implementation of social-emotional curricula. Counsel students on an individual basis related to behavioral, social, spiritual, and emotional issues. Work as a team with counselor who primarily serves grades 9-12. Communicate with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student concerns and needs. Document counseling sessions and student concerns. Additional duties may include assisting with junior high activities and trips, providing referrals to mental health treatment/programs, educating parents and faculty/staff about behavioral, developmental, and mental health issues, and arranging speakers for parents and students as needed.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work from an accredited school, minimum 2 years related experience.
