About Koinonia Hybrid Academy

Koinonia Hybrid Academy is a Catholic hybrid school located in the Donelson area of Nashville that has students enrolled in grades PreK 3 - 3rd Grade. Koinonia’s hybrid model strives to combine “the best of both worlds,” blending full-time homeschooling and traditional schooling. Koinonia Hybrid Academy meets in person on Mondays and Thursdays in a setting similar to a five day a week Catholic school and provides lesson plans for parents to use while educating their children at home on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Our mission is to collaborate with parents in teaching the foundations of learning and forming children in the fullness of the Catholic faith.

Salary

Starting at $18/hour while on campus.

Time Commitment

8:35am-3:40pm on campus on Mondays and Thursdays and minimal work brought home if not finished during the school day.

Estimated Start Date 

April 20th, 2026 through the end of the academic year, May 22, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Executes all sub plans and materials provided by classroom instructor
• Executes all lesson plans provided by KHA in the classroom on school days
• Regularly collaborates and communicates with administration to ensure the needs of the kindergarten class are being met
• Provides differentiated instruction to meet students’ academic needs
• Implements KHA virtue recognition program and enforces KHA standard of behavior
• Effectively uses provided grading and communication platforms
• Ensures students are supervised at all times throughout the school day
• Sends weekly parent email updates
• Submits grades by deadlines
• Responds to parent emails within 24 hours and regularly communicates academic needs and concerns to parents

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is required.

Classroom experience of any kind is preferred.

Practicing Catholic in good standing.

Benefits

Free onsite nursery for instructor’s children whose ages are between newborn to 2 years old by August 15, 2025.

Mass offered on most on campus days.
