Part-time pianist for Catholic music liturgy at our Sunday 9:00AM Masses. Additional opportunities are available for Holy Days of Obligation, feast days, funerals, and weddings. The instrument is a new Yamaha Arius digital piano. The hymnal is OCP’s Journeysongs. You will have one Sunday off a month from playing when we host guest musicians. This is generally the last Sunday of each month. All Masses are in English. The position is available immediately.

Primary Responsibilities

• Playing the musical portions of the Catholic Mass parts and hymns and accompanying vocalists and choir.
• Cantor Psalms, Alleluia, special music, and leading the worshiping congregation in Mass parts and hymns.
• Prepare for and rehearse selected Mass hymns, Mass parts, special music and with other vocalists and musicians as needed for effective liturgy celebration.
• Notify Pastor in advance of absence and arrange for substitutes during times of absence.
• Models Catholic pastoral ministry and worship.
