Pre-K Teacher
Description

We are seeking dedicated Pre-K teachers to join our team of talented educators. The role involves preparing and delivering a comprehensive educational program in line with the school's requirements. The teacher will provide knowledge and instruction to students while fostering their character, emotional, and social development. We are looking for passionate and innovative teachers capable of reaching students and building mutual respect and trust. The ideal candidate will know how to organize a class and make learning an enjoyable, rewarding, and meaningful experience. At HRA, we aim to cultivate our students' interest in learning and be their dedicated allies in their overall development.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and advocate for the teachings of the Catholic Church
  • Present lessons comprehensively using instructional technology, visual/audio aids, and various teaching strategies to facilitate learning
  • Provide individualized instruction through interactive learning and differentiated teaching
  • Create and distribute educational content such as notes, summaries, and assignments
  • Assess and record students' progress and provide feedback
  • Maintain a neat and orderly classroom
  • Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders, participating in regular meetings and events as needed
  • Observe and understand students' spiritual, behavioral, social, and emotional needs
  • Develop and enhance professional skills and knowledge by attending training, seminars, and conferences
  • Serve as an excellent team member and positive promoter of the school to stakeholders and the public
  • Support the vision and directives of the Church and School Administration
  • Be an active member of the school program, occasionally attending and willing to sponsor or coach after-school clubs and athletics

Requirements:

  • Support and advocate for the teachings of the Catholic Church
  • Proven experience as a teacher, student teacher, or in working with children
  • Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines
  • Willingness to follow the school's policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Well-organized and committed
  • Significant energy, innovation, and creativity
  • Strong moral values and work ethic
  • Bachelor’s Degree in teaching or a specialized subject with certification/state licensure or willingness to secure licensure

Preferred, but Not Required:

  • Active Catholic
  • Master’s or other Advanced Degree
