Time Commitment

• 8:30am-3:30pm on campus on Mondays and Thursdays for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities

• Executes all lesson plans and follows daily schedule provided by KHA in the classroom on school days
• Implements behavior reward system and enforces KHA standard of behavior
• Leads circle learning time and prayer time
• Coordinates nap time
• Takes students outside for recess
• Provides guidance to assistants
• Ensure students are supervised at all times throughout the school day
• Sends weekly parent email updates
• Respond to parent emails within 24 hours and regularly communicate academic needs and concerns to parents
• Assists potty trained children with using the restroom following safe environment standards and protocols

Education Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher preferred, but not required.

Experience Requirements

• Preschool or daycare experience preferred but not required.

About
Koinonia Hybrid Academy is a new hybrid school rooted in the Catholic tradition, located in Nashville, TN. We are opening our doors this 2025-2026 school year. We will meet in person on Mondays and Thursdays in a setting similar to a Catholic school, and families will follow our provided lesson plans on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to homeschool. We will enroll students in Pre-K3 through 8th grade in the 2025-2026 school year but hope to add high school in the future.
