The Dominican Campus in Nashville, TN is seeking a reliable, skilled, and mission-aligned Full-Time Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations and care of our campus facilities. This individual will play a key role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-functioning environment for our students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Position Type: Full-Time
Location: Dominican Campus, Nashville, TN

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety and functionality
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent repair needs
• Maintain campus grounds, including seasonal tasks and coordination with vendors as needed
• Assist with room setups and breakdowns for campus events
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and campus policies
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records
• Work collaboratively with campus leadership and staff to support campus operations

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in building or facilities maintenance preferred
• Working knowledge of general maintenance trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to support and respect the mission and values of the Dominican Campus
